Racing simulator activations at the Long Beach Convention Center.

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center on Ocean Boulevard hosts more than 270,000 sq ft of exhibit space, including the Lifestyle Expo that runs through Grand Prix weekend. We have worked that weekend, and it is not an ordinary load-in.

What we have already run here.

At the Long Beach Grand Prix, a two-simulator queue for 7th Sense Research engaged roughly 800 drivers across a three-day exhibition, 29.5 hours live — and doubled as a survey funnel, capturing respondents straight from the line and clearing the client’s survey minimum.

Two rigs carrying three days is the useful takeaway: about 30 drivers an hour, sustained, inside a compact footprint. The full case study is here.

Race weekend changes the schedule, not the footprint.

Grand Prix weekend puts a published street-closure schedule around the venue and tightens every access window in the area. The run-of-show gets built backwards from those closures, with arrival and clear times committed in writing rather than estimated.

Inside the hall the requirements are ordinary: a 5 ft by 8 ft footprint per rig, one standard outlet per two, and the exhibitor kit worked the same way we work any show floor. Long Beach sits in LA County, so it is standard delivery with no travel surcharge.

Common questions

We have. A two-simulator activation ran a three-day exhibition across the race weekend, 29.5 hours live. Race-weekend access windows are tighter than an ordinary show and the surrounding streets are closed on a published schedule, so the run-of-show is built backwards from those.

At the Grand Prix, roughly 800 drivers engaged across 29.5 hours live — about 30 an hour from two simulators. You do not need a large activation to produce a constant draw; you need one that never stops moving.

Yes, and at Long Beach it did. The continuous three-minute-session queue was turned into a survey funnel for 7th Sense Research, capturing respondents straight from the line and clearing their survey minimum. Capture is tailored to your campaign KPIs.

About 5 ft by 8 ft per simulator, roughly 10 ft by 12 ft for a pair with queue space, and one standard 110V outlet per two rigs. We work inside the hall exhibitor kit and the move-in window assigned to your space.
