Trade Show · SEMA, Las Vegas
Racing simulators for your SEMA booth.
SEMA is the hardest floor in the business to stand out on — an entire convention centre of automotive brands competing for the same enthusiast attention. A racing grid is one of the few booth formats that speaks the room’s own language.
Why racing works at an automotive show.
At most trade shows a racing simulator is a novelty. At SEMA it is on-topic — the audience is people who care about cars, driving and lap times, and they will engage with a rig on its merits rather than as a gimmick.
That cuts both ways: the crowd is more discerning, so the hardware and the format have to hold up. Ours run open-wheel and GT physics on full-motion rigs with three-minute timed sessions and a live leaderboard.
What the format has produced.
On a convention floor in Anaheim, four simulators ran 1,384 sessions across three days — 589 unique drivers, ~323 hours of brand exposure, 89% of them first-timers, with a queue that overflowed into the aisle and lifted traffic for neighbouring exhibitors. The full case study is here.
At a motorsport audience specifically — the Long Beach Grand Prix — two rigs engaged ~800 drivers across three days and doubled as a survey and lead funnel worked straight from the line.
Booth sizing.
A single simulator needs about 5 ft by 8 ft in operation, and a pair with room to queue needs roughly 10 ft by 12 ft — so a 10x10 carries one station comfortably. Power is one standard 110V outlet per two rigs.
Custom liveries put your brand on the cars, the track and the broadcast, so the activation reads as yours rather than as rented equipment parked in the corner.
