Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Trackside Sim Racing (“Trackside,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website or contact us. By using the site or submitting an inquiry, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry or request a proposal, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, company or organization, email address, phone number (if given), event type, preferred date, guest count, budget range, and anything you tell us about your event. You do not need to create an account to use the site, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote or proposal, coordinate your event, and follow up about our services. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

How your information is handled

Inquiries are delivered to our team by email and stored in our website’s secure back end. Our site is operated on a third-party hosting platform; standard server logs and functional cookies may be used to run and secure the site. We also use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic — see Analytics below. Any provider that processes data on our behalf is limited to that purpose.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, how they found us, and roughly what part of the world they are in. It records an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you.

Google Analytics does not receive the contents of an inquiry. Your name, email address, phone number, event details and anything else you type into a form go only to us. When a form is submitted successfully we record that a submission happened and which page it happened on, and nothing further.

Google processes this data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across every site you visit with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

Cookies

Our site uses essential and functional cookies needed to operate correctly, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to measure traffic. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings — blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site or submit an inquiry.

Data retention

We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, to service any resulting booking, and to maintain our business records. Aggregate analytics data is retained on a rolling basis in line with our Google Analytics settings.

Your choices & rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have provided at any time by emailing info@tracksidesimracing.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
