Trade Show · MD&M West, Anaheim
Racing simulators for your MD&M West booth.
MD&M West is the West Coast’s largest medtech design and manufacturing show — 13,500+ qualified buyers and 1,700 exhibiting companies at the Anaheim Convention Center. We have run a racing activation on that floor. Here is what it did, and what it would take in your booth.
What the floor is actually like.
1,700 exhibiting companies means 1,700 booths competing for the same scanning attendee. People walk the aisles badge-forward, eyes moving, politely avoiding everyone paid to make eye contact with them. Signage does not interrupt that state. Motion, sound and a crowd already gathered do.
The strongest traffic signal a booth can send is a visible queue — proof that something over there is worth a stranger’s time.
What it did for one booth.
Over three days and 21.5 hours live, a four-simulator activation put 589 unique drivers through a single booth across 1,384 race sessions — a new driver strapped in roughly every 56 seconds the floor was open.
That came to ~323 hours of brand exposure, 89% of it first-time drivers, and a queue that overflowed into the aisle and lifted foot traffic for the neighbouring exhibitors too. The full numbers are in the case study.
Fitting it into your booth.
A single simulator needs about 5 ft by 8 ft in operation, and a pair with room to queue needs roughly 10 ft by 12 ft — so a 10x10 carries one station comfortably. Past that it is a scalable footprint: two to four concurrent stations raise throughput per hour in step with the space you give them.
Power is one standard 110V outlet per two rigs, and we confirm amperage requirements with the venue in advance.
Space & power

- One standard 110V outlet per two rigs. No generators, no special wiring.
- Throughput
- 15–20
- Guests per hour, per simulator. Multiplies with every rig you add.
Show logistics we handle.
We work within your exhibitor kit, load-in windows and any union labour rules. Delivery, install, staffing and teardown are ours, load-in to load-out, with a COI on file and run-of-show coordination with show management.
Branding is produced ahead of load-in and approved by your team, so your livery is on the cars, the track and the broadcast when the doors open.
Dates and lead time.
Plan on three to six months for a show of this size, where booth space and show deadlines drive the calendar. We accommodate shorter timelines when the calendar allows.
Tell us your show dates and booth number and we will confirm availability in the same reply — within one business day.
